Meaning of the surname
My surname "Baliña" has Galician origin, they were knights of the area formerly known as "Los valles" nowadays "Monforte de Lemos", these knights were ruled by King Carlos III.

Meaning of the coat of arms
The first coat of arms of my surname was created when two sides joined together. The shield is divided into four parts, two of which are red and have two green dragons that are fusing by a white ray of light and the other two parts are yellow with a black fox in the middle. Red represents union, strength, power and love of Dios, it adds two dragons representing daring, clemency and security, it gives the green color to dragons as it symbolizes hope, faith and friendship.The gold of the other fragments represents the nobility, the spandor, the wisdom, the wealth, the power and the light. It has in the middle a wolf that symbolizes that it is the shield of some men of war and this one is of black color to indicate that the family was honest and discreet, the black color was not granted to any family.
