The surname `Llamazares´ comes from latin.`Lama´ means mud or pond and in spanish they add a double L and the suffix `zar´ and `es´.The world without `es´ means marshy (the village of Llamazares was founded on a swamp or near of it). In the present there is a village in Castilla y León called `Llamazares´.
