Ponte Maceira's Battle
Event
Lopo and Santiago's archbishop (Afonso de Fonseca II) were two enemies because Lopo had and conquered some territories that Afonso wanted. In one of his tries to won the other one this, there was a battle.
Lopo, saw that they were going to attack him and asked for help to those who signed the alliance to protect the towers. They got together to defend in Augapesada.
While, from the Trastamára lands arrived at the Tambre, García Martiz, with men of reinforcement. And for stop it, the other team sent an army to Ponte Maceira. To many people came out bad from that battle. The one who won, was Lopo, but a century ago the lands were owned by Santiago de Compostela.
