Story
My grandfather and my grandmother lived here, in Ames, but after the war, all was very difficult,so, my grandfather decided emigrate to Venezuela. My grandmother stayed here with my aunt during 5 years; then, my grandfather sent money to buy tickets to travel there by ship. They travelled during 17 days. My grandmother and my aunt met with my grandfather and they stayed in this country during a lot of years. My mum was born there. They worked a lot there and they had a lot of friends from another countries. They returned in 1978 with my mum. My aunt is still living there.

Story
Cóntame Manuel que no ano 1963 traballaba no serradoiro daquí do Portanxil . Traballaba todo o día , por un soldo pequeno e sen seguro médico , xa que era solteiro , e daquela solo se aseguraba os traballadores que tiñan fillos por se había que levalos ao médico . Alí botou un ano, ata o 1964 , que foi cando decidiu emigrar a Alemaña en busca dun soldo mellor . Marchou el e un grupo máis da zona en tren durante tres días ata chegar alá . A xente que marchou foi porque tiñan un contrato durante un ano nunha fábrica de aluminio. Unha vez cumprido o contrato encontrou traballo nunha fábrica de maquinaria agrícola . Cinco anos despois envioulle un contrato a súa moza que na actualidade é a súa muller. Aparte de traballar os dous na fábrica, tamén facían horas extras noutros traballos . Un tempo despois de que fose a súa muller a Alemaña, tiveron tres fillos, que según ían nacendo íanos mandando de volta a Galicia onde eran coidados por unha irmá da muller , xa que non querían que collesen arraigo alí, senón en Galicia onde ían voltar co paso do tempo. O último fillo que tiveron vivíu alá durante dous anos ao contrario dos outros dous que naceron aquí . Eles viñan de vacacións no mes de agosto e decembro . O día que voltaban a Galicia era unha ledicia, pero o malo era marchar e deixar aos rapaces aquí para non volvelos a ver ata dentro de seis meses . Nunha das viaxes de volta encontrouse cunha gran cantidade de neve pola cal o tren tivo que parar naquelas condicións de vinte grados baixo cero , o tren retrasouse dúas horas o que fixo que non puideran chegar ao seguinte enlace . Tanto el coma ela víonse moi angustiados ao non poder chegar ao seu destino, xa que ninguén os podía achegar ao lugar onde residían en Alemaña. Alí foi cando coñeceron a outro inmigrante iuguslavo que se ofreceu a levalos en aquelas cicunstancias climatolóxicas tan malas , aínda hoxe se emocionan ao lembrar a esa persoa . Co paso dos tempo e cos rapaces xa cumpridos os dez anos voltaron a Galicia no ano 1990 .

Story
My grandfather job with oil in a very big ship.He job in Germany and he stayed in the ship 1 year or more.He didn´t find job in Spain and he go there because he needed money because he has got four daughters(Olimpia,Carmen,Maria del Mar and Ana) and one son(Alfonso).He visited they when he finish the job and he wnet to Padron,Spain.He repeat this twenty two years.

Story
My father's name is Jose González. He's got 50 years old. He was born on Vigo, in june of 1967.
When he had got 18 years old, in the 1987, he went to Madrid, because he had to do the military. When my father finished that, in the 1988 he went to Galicia. In Galicia he went to Ribadavia, a little village of Ourense. He worked there two years being an electrician. After that he went to Vigo in 1990. There he was working of electrician. In Vigo my father met my mather and there they were living nine years. In the 1999 my parents went to Bertamiráns because the electricians of the hospital called my fahter to work there. At the moment my father is working in the hospital and he goes there every day.

Story
My father was born in a village in Cataluña called "Santa Coloma de Gramanet". He lived there until the age of 18. When my grandparents retired, they decided to go to live in a village of Galicia to have more peace of mind. Each year we go to Catalonia to see the family.
